aww. Actually, carving on trees is bad for their health, and may allow them to get infected and sick, because the bark (skin) barrier is open and oozing. Think about it--if someone carved on your skin, you would not be happy about it, no matter the reason. ...sorry to ruin the romance! I still thought it was a lovely sentiment, though.
